The Fallen - Final piece.

It's finally finished! My character The Fallen has come to an end. I have produced one last illustration for this assignment. I really enjoyed working on something that I definitely had passion and commitment for. The whole idea of a character that has so much potential and story behind it really appealed to me.
As far as the composition go, I have chosen a brown color palette which I think really worked well with the character. I've also allocated my character in a rocky environment which looks quite calm and peaceful. I though of an idea of him feeling guilty for what he has done in the past, so this was an opportunity for me to show it through the background setting.

With the armor design, I have collected quite a lot of references from different websites and I have looked at various sources but what has really appealed to me was a TV show called Spartacus. I really enjoyed their designs and armor ideas which really worked well with my character. 

Now that The Fallen is finished I feel happy but on the other side, quite sad. I really enjoyed working on the project and I definitely hope that future assignments will bring me as much joy as this one. I am definitely happy with the outcome, mainly because of the fact that characters aren't my strongest side and I have definitely worked outside of my comfort zone.
